The short version: SyntheticMem is a free preview, provided as-is, with no warranty. Use it fairly. Don't abuse the demo.

1. The service

SyntheticMem is an MCP server and REST API that stores and recalls memories for AI agents, together with this website and a dashboard. It is offered in preview and is free to use. Features, limits and availability may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time.

2. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break isolation between agents, access memories that are not yours, or circumvent authentication, rate limits or the demo-key quota.
Don't use the service to store or process unlawful content, or to attack, overload or probe the infrastructure.
Don't resell or misrepresent the service, or use it in a way that endangers other users' access.
You are responsible for the content your agents store and for keeping your API keys secret.

3. Demo keys

Anonymous demo keys are rate-limited and share a capped pool so the public demo stays available. Memories written with a demo key are ephemeral and are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Demo keys are provided for evaluation and throwaway use, not for production workloads.

4. Accounts and keys

If you register, you are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your keys. We may suspend or revoke access that violates these terms or threatens the service.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stored memories will be retained — keep your own copy of anything important.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, autoaidev is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Because the service is provided free of charge in preview, your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the preview evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
